what I read in april

Dubliners - I was intrigued because some of these characters reappear in Ulysees. Enjoyed it; love Joyce’s writing.

Left of Karl Marx - my pick for book club. High on repetition and academic stylings, low on biographical content and “the why”, Claudia deserves better.

I Am Not Sidney Poitier - My first Percival Everett book. Ridiculous and hilarious.

Infinite Jest - Still plugging away and still digging it but hard eyeroll at the pretentiousness of several pages of footnotes in a work of fiction.
